My Alter Ego

Namaste. My brothers call me Leen. My husband calls me Mama Leen. But that name only materialized after our first pregnancy was discovered. And so emerged my alter Ego, The Domestic Goddess. Gone was the staying out till 4 AM, driving home drunk (i was really good at it!! Having done it so many times.) and getting a mini pizza from the gas station because that was the only thing open that had food that late, early. Anyway, let me describe to you who I am today.
I am a mother of two, I am between the ages of 30 and 35. I drive a light colored Volvo station wagon. I drink Fresca. I craft. I am a career woman; I’ve had the same career for 10 years. I love my husband as a man, with all of his flaws that I know I cannot change (this is a new skill). I love my children fiercely.  I commute an hour to work, work 10 hours and another hour drive home. But I am a terrible home maker.  We eat drive through 3 (or more) nights a week. Our closets and the laundry baskets are full.  We get clean dishes straight out of the dishwasher.  I only clean our house if company is scheduled to come over. Most times I invite people over to compel me to clean!! It works wonderfully.
But once a week, typically on Sunday evening, I turn into a Domestic Goddess.  This blog documents this Jekyll/Hyde transformation. Hopefully, this will eventually turn into an all weekend thing!
